Play Guess The Player

Guess The Player is a clue-based NFL puzzle where one mystery player is hidden each day. You can reveal up to eight hints and only get three guesses, so timing matters.

You start at 10 points and lose one point for each additional hint revealed.

Three wrong guesses ends the run with zero points. Solve quickly to post your best score.

Open the daily puzzle and reveal the available hints one at a time. Each hint gives you another fact about the mystery NFL player, such as career history, team information, position, achievements, or a personal detail. You decide when you have enough information to make a guess.

Search for the player by name and select the exact result you want to submit. You may make up to three guesses. A correct answer completes the game, while three incorrect guesses end the daily run. You can reveal as many as eight hints, but every additional hint after the first reduces the score available for a correct answer.

Is there a new mystery player? The web version follows the current daily game. The Gridiron app also offers additional collections and ways to continue playing after the daily challenge.

Can names be searched? Yes. Use the player search after revealing enough information, then select the exact player you want to submit. A wrong selection consumes one of your three guesses.
