Reverse Immaculate

Match the teams to the players

Instead of filling player names, you’ll identify the row and column teams that make the completed grid valid.

What Is Reverse Immaculate?

Reverse Immaculate flips the classic grid format. You are shown player combinations and must infer the correct team headers from football knowledge, memory, and deduction.

How To Play

Tap a row or column header and pick the team you believe fits that header. You get instant feedback.

You have three strikes. A perfect run solves all six headers.

Solve The Grid By Intersections

Each player sits at the intersection of one row team and one column team. Look for the player whose career path is most distinctive, then use that answer to constrain an entire row or column. Once one header is known, the neighboring players become evidence for the remaining headers rather than isolated trivia questions.

Pay attention to brief roster stops, relocations, and players who appeared for several franchises. A valid connection is based on the teams represented in the puzzle data, not only the franchise with which a player is most closely associated.

Reverse Immaculate Questions

How is this different from an immaculate grid? The player cells are already supplied. Your job is to reverse the normal process and identify the team labels that make every intersection valid.

How many mistakes are allowed? You have three strikes for the daily puzzle. Solve all six row and column headers before reaching the strike limit to complete the grid.
